FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How Does Teto Work?

Teto is highly effective due to its active ingredient, Aluminium Chloride Hexahydrate. This compound reacts with water and keratin in the sweat ducts, forming a temporary barrier that prevents sweat from reaching the skin’s surface. The temporary barrier naturally disappears after a few days, along with the natural shedding of dead skin cells.

For first-time use, it is recommended to apply Teto for 7 consecutive days. After that, you can apply it once a week, or as needed, depending on your individual hormonal conditions.

  • Why is Teto so Effective?

The active ingredient in all Teto products is Aluminium Chloride. Aluminium Chloride is used because it is highly effective in forming a temporary layer that coats the sweat ducts. Its effects are well-documented in scientific literature and clinical trials. While Aluminium Chloride can cause skin irritation, Teto’s formulation also includes an active skin-care system. This technology reduces skin irritation, making Teto's formula quite unique.

  • Can I Use Regular Perfume?

Yes, you can continue using perfume if desired. It will not affect the effectiveness of Teto.

  • Why Should I Use Teto at Night?

Sweat glands are less active at night, meaning the moisture levels in the sweat ducts are lower, which allows the temporary layer to form more effectively. This provides you with long-lasting protection against sweat and odor.

  • What Should I Do If My Skin Becomes Irritated?

In some cases, Teto may cause skin irritation. If this occurs, we recommend discontinuing use. Most skin irritation is temporary and may occur after the first or second application, but if irritation persists or if you experience an allergic reaction, you should stop using the product.

  • Why Does Teto Contain Alcohol?

Teto contains alcohol for the following reasons:

    • To cleanse and disinfect the skin.

    • To reduce the development of odor.

    • Alcohol acts as a disinfectant, eliminating the need for added preservatives in the formula.

    • Alcohol evaporates quickly from the skin, helping it dry faster.

    • Alcohol helps degrease the skin, ensuring that the formula applies evenly.
